Elizabeth Bula Maynard, Owner and Operator of Gatsby Glass of Southlake, is deeply rooted in the Southlake community. A Carroll Senior High School alumna (Class of 2007) and former Student Council President, she returned home with her husband to launch Gatsby Glass and give back to the place that shaped her early years.

For more than a decade, Elizabeth built an impressive career in the wine and spirits industry, rising through leadership roles in a field historically dominated by men. She began at Republic National Distributing Company, where she was one of only a handful of women on a 100-person sales team, and went on to become the first female Director of Sales at Banfi Fine Wines & Spirits. Over her 14 years in the industry, she established herself as a strategic leader and champion for women in business, paving the way for others to follow.

Now, Elizabeth is channeling that same entrepreneurial spirit into Gatsby Glass of Southlake, which specializes in custom glass solutions including wine rooms, showers, railings, partitions, and commercial storefronts. Her vision is to deliver an elevated customer experience through uncompromising integrity, exceptional service, and pride in craftsmanship.

Beyond business, Elizabeth is committed to supporting the Southlake community. She has already begun partnering with local organizations, including the Southlake Girls Softball Association, as part of her mission to invest in the next generation.

Derek Kretschmer is a Sales Representative at Gatsby Glass of Southlake who is passionate about helping homeowners and businesses bring their vision to life through beautiful, custom glass solutions.

With more than a decade of experience in relationship-focused sales, Derek understands that great service starts with listening. Before joining Gatsby Glass, he built his career in the wine and spirits industry, where he developed a reputation for professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail. That background shaped his consultative approach—taking the time to understand each client’s needs and delivering solutions that exceed expectations.

At Gatsby Glass of Southlake, Derek works closely with homeowners, designers, builders, and commercial clients on projects including custom shower enclosures, wine rooms, glass railings, partitions, and storefronts. He believes that every project—large or small—deserves clear communication, thoughtful planning, and pride in craftsmanship from start to finish.
