Glass Shower Door Styles & Configurations

The right configuration depends on the shower opening, available clearance, preferred appearance, and budget. We offer swinging doors, sliding doors, rolling doors, and screens, with glass and shower door hardware selected for each project.

Common glass shower configurations include:

Frameless design: Our frameless shower doors use 3/8-inch tempered glass set with hinges and are available with a variety of hardware styles.
Semi-Frameless Shower Doors: Metal framing surrounds the glass edges while the doors remain frameless. This configuration offers a more economical option.
Framed Shower Doors: Framed configurations use metal framing around the glass edges.
Pivot Shower Doors: These doors swing on pivot hinges and require sufficient clearance for operation.
Neo-Angle Enclosures: These enclosures fit angled corner shower openings.

During your consultation, we determine which design works with the opening. Project scope and cost vary according to the configuration, glass dimensions, hardware selections, and conditions at the installation area.

Our Shower Door Installation Process

Our measured-to-installation process follows a defined sequence from design decisions to final setup. We confirm project details before fabrication begins.

During the consultation, we discuss the shower opening, door operation, glass, and hardware. Our visualization tools show how the selected elements work together before purchase.

Our team then takes on-site measurements and confirms the glass and hardware selections before the project moves into fabrication and preparation.

Installation Day

Our installers protect nearby surfaces, set and align the glass, seal the enclosure, and test the door’s operation. We then complete a final walkthrough and provide support after installation.

Installation typically takes place three to four weeks after final measurements. Timing can vary based on project complexity and material availability.

Signs You May Need Shower Door Replacement

An existing enclosure may need attention when it no longer operates correctly or shows damage that routine cleaning won’t resolve. We provide shower door replacement in Braselton for homeowners considering an updated glass shower enclosure.

Replacement signs can include:

Water escaping from the enclosure onto the bathroom floor.
Visible rust developing on the shower door frame.
Cloudy or etched glass that doesn’t clear after cleaning.
A shower door that sticks or drags during operation.

Caring for Your New Shower Glass

Our ultra pro ice system helps glass shower enclosure surfaces remain easy to maintain. By repelling water, grime, and soap scum, this surface protection can simplify routine cleaning.

Follow the care instructions provided for your installed glass and hardware. During the final walkthrough, you can ask questions about operating and caring for your new enclosure.
