Warranty Policy

Section 1: Workmanship Warranty — what's covered on your installation, in plain terms. 

Gatsby Glass warrants that the labor and installation we perform will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the time periods listed below, beginning on the date of installation. This warranty applies to the original customer at the original installation address. 

What's Covered 

Defects in Gatsby Glass installation labor and workmanship — including improper fit, alignment, leveling, or attachment resulting from an error in our installation. If a covered defect is verified, Gatsby Glass will repair or correct it at no cost to you within a reasonable time. 

What's Not Covered

• Normal wear and tear, scratches, chips, or glass breakage occurring after installation
• Damage from misuse, abuse, accidents, improper cleaning, or harsh chemical cleaners • Alterations, adjustments, or repairs performed by anyone other than Gatsby Glass 
• Damage from structural settling, water intrusion unrelated to installation, or acts of nature • Manufacturer defects in glass, hardware, or materials (see manufacturer's warranty) 
• Products or components not sold or installed by Gatsby Glass 

How to File a Claim 

1. Contact the Gatsby Glass location that completed your installation within 30 days of discovering the issue. 
2. Provide your proof of installation (invoice or work order) and a description of the concern; photos are helpful. 
3. A Gatsby Glass representative will inspect the issue and determine the appropriate remedy. 

Limitation of Liability 

This warranty covers Gatsby Glass labor and workmanship only; it does not extend to manufacturer warranties on glass, hardware, or other materials, which are governed by the applicable manufacturer's own terms. Gatsby Glass's liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or correction of verified workmanship defects and does not include incidental, consequential, or indirect damages. This warranty is non-transferable. 

This warranty applies automatically to every Gatsby Glass installation — there's nothing you need to sign or register. Simply keep your invoice or work order as proof of your installation date.

Protective Glass Coating Warranty 

Section 2: Diamond Seal Systems® limited lifetime warranty — applies only if your installation included this optional treatment.

If your Gatsby Glass installation included the Diamond Seal Systems professional glass protective treatment, that treatment carries its own limited lifetime warranty, provided directly by Diamond Seal Systems (the manufacturer) — separate from the Gatsby Glass workmanship warranty on page 1. A summary for our customers is below. 

What's Covered 

The factory-applied Diamond Seal Systems coating creates a hydrophobic (water-repellent), easy-to-clean barrier on glass and glass-glazed surfaces. When properly maintained, it is warranted for life against the coating chipping, cracking, or yellowing, and against adverse changes to the glass's appearance, clarity, or optical characteristics. The factory-applied base coat is designed to last 20+ years without needing reapplication. 

Required Maintenance

• Clean only with Diamond Seal Systems' Diamond Blue Wash and a microfiber cloth — wipe down glass 1–2 times per week while still wet, then buff dry with a separate clean microfiber cloth. 
• Apply the Liquid Diamonds Protective Treatment once a year for optimum repellent performance.
• Never use ammonia- or acid-based cleaners or abrasive materials on treated glass. 

Important: Using harsh detergents, ammonia- or acid-based cleaners, or abrasive materials reduces the coating's repellent qualities and will void this warranty. 

If Performance Declines 

If the treated glass loses its easy-to-clean, repellent qualities, or shows signs of oxidation or corrosion, contact Diamond Seal Systems directly (not Gatsby Glass) to arrange a refresher kit or, if needed due to misuse or damage, a paid reapplication through your local dealer.
