Mark was not born in Texas, but he will tell you “… I got here as quick as I could”. Mark was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. He then moved to beautiful Lynchburg, Virginia where he studied business management at Liberty University. He also met his lovely bride and started his family there, with two beautiful girls. Mark was carving out a career in the wireless business, traveling with a crew doing installation work to build out wireless networks. The Power family relocated to McKinney, TX in 1999, to manage the deployment teams for a specialty antenna manufacturer. Mark found his groove leading crews! Market changes created a scenario that led Mark to start his first company in early 2003. He was infected with the entrepreneurial bug. He built up his first company and sold it after 9 years. Although he had a short stint in the medical equipment field, his desire to lead crews took him back to the wireless industry where he spent another 9 years in several lead operational roles working for an Atlanta based company. Gatsby Glass is Mark’s current passion. He is now developing local crews to provide superior products and professional service for the greater McKinney and Frisco Texas markets. Shower doors, custom mirrors, Insulated Glass (IG), custom glass railings, as well as smart glass are all available at Gatsby Glass of Greater McKinney. Now that both daughters have finished their college days, Mark and his bride have settled deeper into a few acres in Grayson County. Mark and his family now spend their “downtime” growing a homestead with pecan trees, gardens, chickens, and have plans for more livestock in the future.
